If knowing they hurt someone doesn't "help" them, being cruel to them won't help either. Some people don't realize they're being cruel. Those who are purposely cruel aren't worth helping. If you're talking about someone who smells.....tact and a small lie would be more helpful than cruelty. I would go to them in confidence and say something like, "I'm coming to you because we seem to have the same problem. I don't know if it's body chemistry or what, but we seem to need stronger deodorant than most people. This is a little awkward for me but I was really glad when someone mentioned it to me. | 24 | I recently went through a divorce and had to re-mortgage the house to pay off my debts. A word to the wise.....If you're in a marriage, be sure if you use credit cards that you spend equal amounts on cards in both names or use "your own card" for ONLY "your own things". Have one card for community purchases and pay off as much as you can each month. what sounded like a good idea at the time (building up my credit by using cards in my name) worked very well while we were together. Now I find myself in a position where I'm responsible for paying off the credit cards. Of course during the time I was waiting for him to send money my credit was ruined. | 26 | I'm not sure whether it would be described as "open-minded", "accepting" or "non-judgemental". Murder, rape, child molesting are a few things I'm very closed minded about. As far as life-styles and that sort of things go I think I'm very open minded....but then...is it being open-minded or is it just none of my business?
