I have to say I've never been spammed. While I'm sure it's just as annoying, I would rather be spammed than get junk mail (you don't have to cart email to the dump). When I'm in a chat channel I do get a lot of "cybermarketers" trying to get me to check out their "XXX best porn" channels. They're usually set up by some 14 year old so after a scolding they don't bother me anymore. | Spam vs. Junk Mail
ron2112...I guess I'll check that survey too. Would that be under "Rituals" or "Anal Retentive"? | When showering, what orientation do you tend to default to?
"I really have to get going" is usually tactful and true. You could have to be somewhere doing something else or you could really have to get going because you can't stand being in the conversation anymore. You don't have to specify WHY you have to go. | What do you do when you are talking to someone you don't want to be talking to? (be it via the Internet, on the phone, or in person.)
I'll use paper towels if available. Using the blower I usually end up using my jeans anyway. ***ron2112...I think those roll things roll up to the end and then they have to be replaced (I HOPE). By the way..did you know they have the same type thing in some airports for toilet seat covers??? | Drying your hands in a public restroom...
Maybe they could keep things as they are except for the addition of a "generic" bathroom. I have never hesitated to use the men's room if I really couldn't wait in the line at the women's room. If someone chose not to (or "couldn't")wait they would have the option. They could have a male and female attendant to assure privacy. | Would you favor a law that required public restrooms to have more space (more stalls) allocated to women than to men in order to compensate for the waiting lines which tend to appear in front of women's bathrooms but not men's bathrooms.
They're GREAT if i can get them. Sometimes i get sooooo close and then nothing. I've never been able to get one on the monitor (UGH) | "Magic Eye" pictures are ...
I was brought up with a very strong work ethic. There was a time i would go to work no matter how i felt. (Being a "mom" you learn to function even if you're bleeding from your eyeballs). The management of today has changed...expect more for less appreciation. Now if I get fed up with the politics in the office I call in. It doesn't happen very often and when it does I more than pay for it playing "catch up". | This is a question about taking Sick Days at work (or staying home from school if you are a full-time student). How sick do you have to be? What factors tip the scales when you're deciding whether to stay home sick or not? How do you handle being sick?
I go to other countries to learn about the people...not how the people treat tourists. | Tourists who say they were "treated like a native" ...
When my parents were living we lived about an hour from each set of parents. My parents liked to ride so they came to see us more often than my husband's parents did. We made the trip equally as often to each set of parents. We would alternate spending holidays with them...Christmas one year...Thanksgiving the next. My son gets to see his SO's parents more often than he sees me because he lives in the same state as they do. My daughter's SO lives an hour away. Fridays they come here after work and spend the evening (usually). Saturday he comes here after work and they usually go out. She goes to his place Sunday and usually they spend the day there. Basically, whatever was (is) most convenient (and practical) for all concerned seemed (and seems) to work best. | If you are married or in a committed relationship, which of your sets of parents do you see more of?
I try to get out of the house for reasons other than going to work at least once a week. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I do go out Friday or Saturday night if there's something to do but it's more important for me just to get out. "When" doesn't really matter. | How important is it for you to "go out" on Friday and Saturday night?
