miykal: you already asked this question, and very recently. People have already told you how they felt. And I agree with lisashea that you should phrase questions more objectively -- the question should be phrased so as to find out how people feel or what their experiences have been. If you want to argue for a certain position, you should do it in your comment rather than building your view into the question itself. | Do you agree that if no one is able to sue for debt the world would be a better place to live. Please think about it before you answer, there's an underlying subtle point.
lisashea: you're right, it's properly spelled "acupressure." Unfortunately the FAQs I was reading spelled it wrong, as did the acupressurist I went to several months ago! | Which of the following healing techniques do you believe often provides significant health benefits, assuming the practitioner is sincere and knowledgeable?
I don't believe there is any particular reason we are here, other than because our parents conceived, bore, and raised us. I feel that I have a good idea of what my interests and talents are, but I am always refining this knowledge. I think most people have many talents, interests and goals and I don't see the value in trying to boil one's existence down to one "purpose." lisashea: I rate a survey bad when the survey creator has built flawed assumptions into the question itself, or when I'm just not interested in a topic at all. And there seem to have been more of those recently. | Do you feel you have found your purpose in life? If so, what is it?
ok, I'll take a shot at this even though I am not at all knowledgeable about wine and rarely drink. I like Dry Sac sherry (sp?), and Sandeman port from Portugal which is a really sweet dessert wine. | What is currently your favorite wine?
Jeez, this isn't an actual question, it's a plea to agree with the surveyor's opinion, which I don't. Options would have been nice, as would a more neutral wording. | Do you believe anyone has the right to sue for debt? Think about it before you reply the obvious. You would not lend the money in the first place if you were not sure it would be repaid. Don't you think the world would be a better place with this law?
I wanted to serve humankind by abolishing repeat survey questions from the earth. Jody: survey #504, by lisashea, "When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?" bill: you're right, new users who want to make a survey shouldn't have to go through 1000 questions, but they should be able to use the search feature to find out if their idea has been done before. I was able to easily find the original survey. Also, a distinction should be made between topics on which people's opinion may have changed, and topics such as this, where the answer should be the same. | When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
steve: for once, I actually don't mind. A lot of stuff has happened and been revealed since I first asked this question. Plus the options are significantly different. | Should President Clinton be impeached?
I took piano lessons, did not particularly enjoy them, but was not forced. Although I often didn't enjoy the lessons, and practicing was sometimes painful, I did enjoy being able to play. Also much of what I learned was through personal exploration, and through other musicians. I don't really play "regularly," but it hasn't been a long time, either. I don't practice on a regular schedule like I used to, I just play when the urge hits. *** ok, since we are being exhaustive here, I can also sing and play the recorder, and I actually took handbells as a public school class (before they killed music in schools) in middle school. I am a table drummer and I briefly had a guitar that I never really learned to play. There. | What musical instruments can you play fairly well? And how did you learn to play them?
Maybe there are few technical differences besides their different ranges, but to me, violas sound more soulful. | What musical instruments can you play fairly well? And how did you learn to play them?
maybe every six months or so. | How often do you get a haircut?
