| 641 | I guess if the serial killer truly repented of his sins he could go to heaven. I have some very deep in-depth beliefs into that kind of thing that would probably go right over your head, especially without a basic foundation of belief in christianity and more particular, my beliefs in christianity. So i won't go there. But about your question about god. I have to jump on the argument about lack of free will because it does take away from that. God loves us so much, he wants us to become just like him. What is he? Perfect in every way, always makes the right decisions. He wants us to progress spiritually, we progress spiritually by learning to distinguish from good and evil. But it's something we have to learn on our own. Yes he does already know where we're gonna end up. But we don't and he can't take away our free agency or our right to choose. No he doesn't want us to perish but more important, he wants us to learn. He's kinda like a parent. A mother and father raise their kids. They want everything for their kids, they want them to be perfect and always make the right decisions. But the truth of it is, we learn from our mistakes. Same with god. It's not like god does nothing to try and keep us in the right, he's given us a true religion. Scriptures. Prophets. Etc...... Whether we perish or not is based upon whether we came into contact with any of this stuff or had any knowledge of him, had any kind of law. | If heaven exists, can it exist without hell? |
| 642 | i don't believe everyone will be damned to eternal hell. Everyone will receive some form of salvation. Even parents have to discipline their children. | If heaven exists, can it exist without hell? |
| 643 | I have a different definition of what hell is. I believe hell is anything less then the best, same with damnation. It is not an eternally burning, it is simply not having the best. I believe there are different degrees of glory that we can receive depending upon what we did in this life and what we knew, so hell and damnation is anything less then the highest degree of glory and joy and happiness. 1 corinthians 15:40-42 talks a bit about it if you're into the bible. | If heaven exists, can it exist without hell? |
| 644 | I believe in eternal progression, people can continue to progress even in the eternities to come | If heaven exists, can it exist without hell? |
