| 91 | Yes, and I like it. A Mother! | Did you grow up to work in the job or profession you dreamed of as a child? |
| 92 | 2044, I think! | In what year did/will your age match the last two digits of your birth year? |
| 93 | Home schooling, growing own veg, solar/wind power, wooly jumpers, not using too much plastic (if any), not too much TV (if any), saving water, living on a boat, not having a manicured lawn, eating nettle soup and dandelions, being resourceful, making own wrapping paper...
Doing things that are "alternative" to most of society I guess. I strive for this kind of life. | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |
| 94 | I believe it's not how much you have, it's how you use/waste your income that makes you wealthy or not. Anyone can have enough money to do at least some of the Hippy/alternative things if they so wish. Buy stuff second hand for a start. You don't need alot of land to have a veggy patch. Just collect stuff to make your own stuff in the home. That would be/is the whole point for me, that it's cheaper.
Having said that, I only manage to do a few "alternative" things, I'm married to someone who wastes money and is very, very normal! | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |
| 95 | I've just been "flirting" with the idea of living on a boat, there's a lovely converted tug for sale about 100 miles away, trouble is, no engine so we'd have to get it towed back here which would cost a fortune. The boat is only £135,000 though. It's prob nearly as big as our present house. I used to live on a barge when I was little, I got bullied at school for it 'cause they (stupidly) assumed I was a gipsy!
One day! | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |
| 96 | I'm female (stupid username, with hindsight!). Anyway, my SO isn't motivated enough, so if we ever do, it would be my doing but yeah he wouldn't mind and knows I fancy the idea.
We moved onto "Tom Newbound" when I was 4 and moved off when I was 8. We were mored at Old Windsor (near the Queen). There aren't any stretches of water big enough near where we are now and the boys are settled at school, so if it happens it won't be for a while. If my SO was more "alternative" and "motivated" we would be in one (or something as "alternative") by now. But I have to thank him for keeping my feet on the ground, as you said, "normalcy can be a blessing.. sometimes - frustrating and boring also tho! | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |

This is what I would be looking for. Cost a fortune for moorings though! One day! | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |
| 98 | Yes, "moorings" is a space along a canal/river or in a marina/dock. You pay per foot usually. Thanks, all the best for your "ideal lifestyle too. | What does the phrase "alternative lifestyle" mean to you? |

| 100 | I was brought up Church of England, but only attend 5 or 6 times a year now. I have a REAL problem with the first commandment (shall only believe in one God). Also, I believe that the stories in the Bible are a rough guide to what happened, they have been re-written so many times, people have bent what it was trying to say, for political gain I recon. They've made it look all powerful, but now it just makes it look unbelievable and made up!
I'm not too keen on organised religion, but I did have our 2 sons Christened. I like to think they know something about the traditional religion (for the last few hundred years anyway) of this country. However, they also know something about Buddhism and Paganism, through family and friends, knowledge is power. So I s'pose I'm an Agnostic most of the time now, but have a great respect for a belief of somesort, just don't push it on anyone else. Being married to an atheist makes it a bit confusing, esp. for our children, but they don't seem to mind. They are good people, which is more important than what you believe in, me thinks. | What religion are you? II |
