| 143 | To get back to the point. A large study was done a couple of years ago to see if St Johns Wort helped people suffering from depression and you're right, it didn't prove anything positive. However it turned out that the trial had been done on Manic Depressives (or suicidal, not just run of the mill everyday, situational depression anyway). That's why it didn't do much. Subsequent studies have been more positive, apparently!
