The price should really not be exploited. Personally, I think even international flights should be a bit cheaper and the seats larger and more comfortable, but the people in charge of such things are greedy materialists, so oh well. I would prefer the price to be under $1000, but guess I might pay up to $5,000. I would assume it would get cheaper with time. When the opportunity first comes out, I might pay $10,000 if I am well off enough, but just because it is new. The price should drop a lot with time. Plus, I would be more willing to sign up if it was an orbit around the moon, or a trip to the moon instead. How much would you pay for a place on a commercial flight into space?
one more thing... other than the above, it would depend how well off I was. I think it should cost $1000 or less, idealistically. Realistically, it will probably be $5000 or more for a while, but if I was wealthy enough I might even pay an outrageous amount knowing it was outrageous, like $75,000. But even if I was a billionaire, I don't think I'd pay more that $100,000 just on principal. If such a thing was available, it would be better if it was within reach of everyone who desired to go and wasn't based on how rich someone was.How much would you pay for a place on a commercial flight into space?
Why is that, supplicant? How much would you pay for a place on a commercial flight into space?
Actually, if I was a billionaire, maybe I'd arrange some kind of contest and then finance things so lots of people could go if they want.. But I am not a billionaire.. Oh well, dreams are nice. How much would you pay for a place on a commercial flight into space?
I love flying. Wish I could do it more often. I used to be really into astronomy too, and one of the things I was interested in as a child was being an astronaut. I would LOVE to go up into space. Actually, isn't that going to be the future method of traveling large distances.. flinging one out into space and then back? So a flight that normally takes 14 hrs will only take 1? I heard that somewhere. I take it you wouldn't be into that Avocado? heheHow much would you pay for a place on a commercial flight into space?
Yep, been on plenty of different kinds of boats and never once felt even the slightest bit seasick.Have you ever been seasick?
They must be miserable enough as it is. Now you want them to pay rent? lol What happens if they can't? Do they get thrown out of prison???Should prisoners pay rent?
Andyroo, they do not live better than we do... Rape by the same sex, extreme loss of freedom, having to use the bathroom in front of others, having to hide shanks up one's ass, barely even necessities, terrible food, dark, miserable quarters, having to take orders from others, etc... is not living better than us. I was kept in a holding cell (not even a real jail) for 3 days for something I didn't do and nearly went mad. I felt like an unlucky animal trapped in a cage with no kind of hope in my life. I wouldn't eat the nasty food, the tv being on all the time was driving me mad, a tiny washcloth for a towel to dry off with after a shower (but at least the shower was hot, only good thing there), no simple things... not even a toothbrush or lotion, no privacy, and nothing to do but sit there... I was bored, so f*&^%ing bored... I am SO glad I got out of there, and wish I could sue them for even putting me there for no reason. I don't even know how people can stand being in a place like that for months and years... how aweful. And most people aren't bad enough to really deserve that. And think of how many people are falsely accused! You people who think they need to pay rent need to go to jail for a few days!!! I guess you think it's happy days there or something. Should prisoners pay rent?
Then don't pay taxes. I don't. They should let us choose what we want to pay taxes on, like on the actual tax forms, choose where we personally want our money to go. By the way, nihon? Have you ever been to jail? I think our justice system is still too messed up for us to be making them pay too. Jail is pretty bad, and the majority shouldn't be there, they should be someplace better, like some kind of rehabilitation or something. I think jail generally makes people worse, so when they get out, they go right back in... and guess who pays for all this? Plus, it's becoming a police state... so many people are ending up in jail that haven't done ANYTHING wrong, let alone those who do very minor things! The police just walked into my house and searched without a warrant, without my permission, and without even a very good reason (we weren't suspected of drugs or anything)!!! I'm am not happy with the current state of these kinds of things. Where I live in LA, it even has been admitted that many of the police are corrupt. There's a huge corruption scandal going on right now, and from my experience with the police here, most of them are corrupt. That is not a good thing. Let's make sure the right people are in jail before we go making them pay for things. Innocent people shouldn't suffer.Should prisoners pay rent?
My boyfriend and I were having a somewhat loud argument and we have neighbors. Do you think that's a good enough reason for the police to walk into your house and search without your permission and without a warrant? I certainly don't. They didn't tell us any reason, NEVER told us why, didn't ask if they could go inside, just walked in. What they did was NOT legal, and the people at the police station even knew that by their response when they were told what happened. Do you live in Los Angeles? Where do you live? Maybe the police have more respect where you live, but they don't here. I get the impression that they barely even get much training.Should prisoners pay rent?
