| 3512 | David Lynch is such a genius. The last time I tried to get around to seeing Lost Highway at the video store it wasn't in. I saw Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, and I own the whole Twin Peaks thing...I think Twin Peaks is the greatest, and Mulholland Drive was pretty memorable as well, but I would still like to see Lost Highway, just to be in the know about it.
I think one of the things that seems to me to go un-noticed, at times, about David Lynch is that his ability to put the perfect music score/musicians with his particularly odd genre, and pacing of a movie is just outstanding. I love the people he chooses. Badalamenti in particular - very fitting for that Lynch "feel"....The music can really set the tone for a movie and make it good or bad. | What's the most frightening quote from a scary movie that you remember? |

With Rebecca DeMornay starring and that weird little boy with the chipmunk cheeks and the bowl haircut? more like a glint or a glare in my eye...than a "shining" really....hated it!!
