31I think it's terrifying.Einstein once remarked that "if bees were to disappear, man would only have a few years to live." Should we be really worried about the death of bees?
32Other: There are no do-overs...so make it count. Is this a quotation of hope or of despair?
33Toyota Corolla 1986What was your first car/truck?
34sure i do...i think i do more now than i used to since i'm older now, but still not as often or as much as i should. I think that's probably average for most people.Do you ever think about how your actions affect other people?
35"I was on my way when i pulled over the first set of train tracks after leaving my house....only to get stopped by a train at the second set of train tracks that i approach. Now, keep in mind that these tracks are only one half a block apart and so only 3 cars can fit between the sets of tracks. Mine being the first closest to the next set of tracks - waiting for the train. About 6 minutes into my wait, the conductor decides to slow the train down to a halt and do some "tests" along the track thereby stopping the train altogether. About this time, another train comes along the 2nd set of tracks and closes the 3 cars (including mine) in to the back of us. I can not turn around nor go forward or back between the 2 sets of tracks and neither can the 2 other cars trapped with me. Suddenly I realize the 2nd train has slowed to a halt as well......and ......is actually .....now....backing up instead of going forward!!! WTH??
People who live in my area know that this is not the first time instances like this have occurred with the two trains and sets of tracks. This however IS the first time that I am one of the morons caught between the tracks. It takes 30 minutes for the monoliths to release me from their morning train exercises and set me free."
(This was an actual true story for being late to work told to me by a co-worker...the only part that i actually paraphrased was the part about being a moron.... * winking raspberry * )
So now what is your excuse this time?
36Yes, I do....to this day - i will turn off the radio if Aerosmith's "Back in the Saddle" comes on....it's usually a very dark bad omen for me so I'd rather not hear it.
I believe in intuition very much also....I depend on mine quite a bit and I am seldom ever wrong. I think it's a skill that you have to believe in to hone.
Do you believe in bad omens, such as songs, the weather a funny feeling?
37When I was blond - i was asked "if the curtains matched the carpet?" * dead face * What was the stupidest insult a person has said to you with the intentions of being offensive?
38I collect Fiestaware...it's made by HomerLaughlin China company - but I wouldn't consider it "fine" china....I use it every day. But ...i don't use my vintage pieces every day....I try to collect the whole gamut so i have some fun newer pieces and some pricey older pieces that are really cool and rare too.Do you own fine china?
39i should be:
decluttering my house
cleaning out stuff to get ready for a spring yard sale
going back to Curves regularly
pruning out the monkey grass in my yard
cutting my grass
planting some new shrubs and various yard plants for spring
digging up some old stumps in the yard we killed in the fall
water-proofing an area in my basement that has a small leak
having a gutter installed on the side of my house that contributes to said leak
finishing stripping the baseboards in my hallway with paint removal gun
painting the hallway
getting estimates on painting the house
getting estimates on remodeling the kitchen
deciding which project between those two biggies to tackle first

I know that starting tomorrow morning - i will start chipping away at some more of this ....but GOD....it seems like so much....i am just SO OVERWHELMED right now.....
my dog is dying and my mother just had a total knee replacement surgery so I've been taking care of BOTH of them....and did i tell you guys that i just got a new job in another department at my company? I don't even know when I will start yet. My current department is at a disadvantage b/c i am the only one who really does what i do - so it could be a long time before they let me transition to the new position. I will have to train my replacement.
I've been holding it together pretty well, i think. Maybe i'm piling so much on so i won't have to think about all the changes? I dunno....it seems to help when i feel productive, but when I don't - it feels like too much. I'm trying to figure out how to get my balance back while maintaining a good steady flow of "something to keep me busy".
Does that make sense?
What are you putting off doing?
