51C'mon everybody.... use your imagination!

If I were a bird
I'd sure to be heard
During time it is light
Bringing to all delight
If I don't want to sing
I'd take to my wings
Soaring up above
Freedom I'd love
My body aligning
Over the shining...

*SPLAT!!*

... bald head of Jed.
If you were a bird how would you spend your time?
52Most of the time, no.Do you get it?
53Hell yes.Do you ever feel like life is a big inside joke that you aren't in on?
54Yeah, but they've been on strike for a hell of a lot longer than Hollywood's writers.Do you ever feel like life is a big inside joke that you aren't in on?
55Other... depends on my mood, what 'we' are talking about before the interruption, who is the interrupter, do I need to pee, etc.Is it annoying when all you want to talk about is shallow, pointless stuff, and someone comes along wanting to talk about meaningful stuff?

There is no such thing as 'nice mean'.
Do you ever mess with people for light hearted fun?
57Just 'mischief' or 'naughty'... 'roguery' is a pretty good word. IMO, there's no such thing as 'innocent' mischief either. I have nothing against 'ribbing' or 'mischief', as long as it doesn't hurt someone's feelings or damage property. Do you ever mess with people for light hearted fun?
58PAT!! Where have you been? How are things?Do you ever mess with people for light hearted fun?
59Because 'mischief' by definition is neither innocent nor harmless. From Dictionary.com: 'A tendency or disposition to tease, vex, or annoy. An injury or evil caused by a person or other agent or cause'. Some of the examples you give, such as saying things to get a reaction, could cause physical harm to the target person in the form of raised blood pressure, mental stress. Not only that, but pushing someone's buttons is a good way to get yourself beaten to a pulp. There is a difference between some gentle ribbing -especially if it's about something the receiver brought up- and saying something to get a rise out of someone. Do you ever mess with people for light hearted fun?
60I agree only to a certain extent... something like that can quite easily get out of control.Do you ever mess with people for light hearted fun?
