* grin * Do you check the expiration date on things before you purchase them?
I can borrow from my credit card but I would only do that in the direst of emergencies. I try hard to live within my means.Do you have a place/person that you can go to for an emergency (money) loan?
Just the lead singer from a little group called Queen, that's all. You must be young if you don't know who he is.Do you remember the moment when you first heard that .......... died?
Queen puts groups like Van halen and Bon Jovi to shame!Do you remember the moment when you first heard that .......... died?
None. I've paid off all the credit card bills my ex ran up and fortunately for me I still have a credit card that I save for emergencies only. Since it was kept in my wallet, she didn't manage to get her hands on it and max it out like she did the other credit cards. Which creditor's phone call are you avoiding right now?
It was a combination of factors revolving around money...to be specific credit cards. My ex would go out shopping while I was at work and when we split up she had maxed out every credit card we had except for one that was in my name only that I kept in my wallet. Thankfully she didn't know about that one or it would probably have been maxed out as well. It took several years after the divorce for me to get the cards all paid off but I don't owe anything on them now. The galling thing is that she was ordered by the judge to get a job and make payments on the credit cards as she was the one who had maxed them out in the first place. As far as I know she is still not working or even looking for work and has not paid a penny of what she owed. When she found out about the other credit card during the divorce proceedings, she tried to use that against me, telling the judge I had lied to her and deceived her by not telling her I had another credit card. The judge said since I had acquired the card before our marriage and it was in my name only that I didn't have to tell her about it. I just thank God that Oregon is not a community property state as I was screwed over enough during the marriage! What was the fight about?
Because of mommy and daddy (she still calls them that even though she's 36). Especially daddy...the last I heard from her she was back living at home with her parents...bill free, rent free, basically doing what she did when she was married to me but without the credit cards. Living at home she doesn't need the credit cards because all she has to do is ask daddy for something and he'll get it for her. She is used to having things handed to her on a silver platter by her parents (she's daddy's little girl) and expected me to do the same. As I said she did nothing around the house, maxed out every credit card she could get her hands on and even went so far as to fill out applications for more cards falsely signing my name. She managed to get one that way but I didn't have to pay for anything she ran up on it because I was able to prove that I had not applied for it and hadn't signed the application. I think the company went after her for forgery and fraud but I'm not sure. One thing I'm certain about is that I feel sorry for the next man she gets her hooks into! What was the fight about?
If there is any bitterness, it's towards her parents (especially her father) for raising her to be the way she is with her attitude of entitlement. I'm more sad than bitter really because she truly thinks she is entitled to have anything she wants and she has absolutely no work ethic. The longest she has ever held a job has been 3 days and that's rather pathetic in my book. It doesn't help that she can get $500 from a trust fund her grandparents left her anytime she wants extra cash. How long has it been...not long enough. It's been several years since we divorced, but I just finished paying off all the bills a little over a year ago. That took awhile to do as she had maxed most of them out and my credit limits were pretty high on all of them but I didn't want to lose all the good credit I had built up over the years. What was the fight about?
Maybe I'll have that type of relationship someday but for now I doubt I'll go much beyond casual dating. Once burned, twice shy. Thank you for your kindness. What was the fight about?
