I really don't know. Isn't an apology so many years later too little, too late? Maybe we should also apologize to the Native Americans for bringing them diseases like chicken pox and measles that decimated their tribes because they had no immunity but again this would be too little, too late and I don't see a purpose in it. It's the same with the issue of slave reparations. The actual percentage of slave owners in the U.S. was relatively small in comparison. I'm not saying that slavery was okay in any way, shape or form but we're talking about a very small percentage of the white population owning slaves. The way I see it descendants of former slaves want the taxpayers to pay them money for what a few people in the U.S. inflicted on them and some of the taxpayer families in question were not even in the U.S. yet. Many people immigrated to the U.S. after the Civil War and the freeing of the slaves. Should their tax money be used as well to pay slave reparation? I certainly don't think so. Sorry for the rant. I was talking with a couple of buddies about this the other day and it's still bugging me. | Was an apology appropriate?
Cloning is against nature. Species become extinct even without man's involvement (the dinosaurs for example...you certainly can't blame that on humankind). I don't think it's okay to deliberately hunt down and kill off a species for the hell of it but hundreds of species vanish yearly without the help of mankind. | Do you believe scientists should clone the (thought-to-be-extinct) Tasmanian Tiger?
At least 200, maybe more. I'm just guessing. | How many books do you own?
None of the above...I don't do crap like that. I mind my own business, show respect to my co-workers and do my job the way I'm supposed to do. | Which of these social idiosyncrasies are you most likely to exhibit on any given day?
No, I don't go to theaters very often. I prefer to wait until the movies I want to see come out on video and then I can rent them and watch them in the privacy of my home without having to put up with crying babies, people talking, sticky floors and overpriced snacks. For under $5 I can have a nice quiet evening at home and sometimes I invite some of my friends over and we order pizza and enjoy the movie. An extra plus is that if you want to get more to eat, use the bathroom, etc., you can stop the movie. You can't do that in a theater. | Have you ever been to an advanced screening for a movie that hadn't been released to theatres yet?
Not a clue. | In all day, then out, then on, then off and under all night long, then on and in I go again. What am I?
Except for getting a cast on my arm in 6th grade when I broke my arm, nothing comes to mind. It wasn't that bad so I don't think it would rate as worst in anybody's book. | What was the worst medical procedure you have undergone?
Nope, the closest I've ever come to this is when I've stayed at a motel and I don't think that's what you had in mind. | Do you now, or have you ever lived in a place that employed the services of a maid or cleaning lady?
Yes, it violates due process. | Would it be unethical for police to arrest people before a crime was committed if they had time traveling capability?
I've never heard of this. | From Sid Meier's Civilization 2, what is your favorite form of government?
