11I don't consider myself to be "polictically correct" but I could be wrong...There is a somewhat funny story that goes with this....The first picture I saw from my sweetie's family before I met them was of his mom's partner's granddaughter. She is this cute/pretty african-american 7 year old. (My sweetie is white.) So I figure his mom's partner is black. No problem...Then I see a picture of this matronly very white older woman and ask my sweetie if that's his mother? No, it's his mother's partner (her name's Caroline). So, I revise my vision of the family such that Caroline had obviously been married to a black man and her childern are of mixed heritage....Until I see a picture of her daugher (the 7 year old's mother). And she's white too....So, I finally ask and find out that the girl's father was black.

All these asumptions take place over a few months.

A few years later, once I got to know Caroline better, I tell her the line of assumptions I made (being rather embarassed by them). She laughs and tells me that it's funny that I was too "PC" to just ask.

Anyway, I thought it was funny-ish. If convoluted in the retelling....
Do you consider yourself "politically correct"?
12I went to my junior prom and a boyfriend's junior prom (when I was in 10th grade). And I figured the Senior Prom would just be more of the same crap, different year.Did you attend your high school senior prom?
13Interesting question. I decided that I'm free but not inexpensive. Not that that means anything in particular.

I think if I define myself as not free, I have a lot less chance of achieving the sorts of freedom that I want.
Are you free?
14My favorite "other" bilble alternative is the NEW TESTAMENT IN SCOTS.i have read at least some of the following religious texts
15I sometimes lock my filing cabinet, my bike...That's about all....What do you lock?
16I got an ice cream maker recently and have been having fun experimenting. I've got some mint-chocolate chip ice cream that is now calling my name.....What is your favorite dessert, candy, and associated topping?
17I'd rather read a book than watch almost any TV series....The exception for that is Babylon 5 and sometimes ER. Movies are different. I watch more movies than most TV shows. But I'd usually still rather read a book.Do you believe that reading a book is better than watching TV?
18I'm caught somewhere between Lady and the Tramp and The Toy Story. Lady and the Tramp has lots of great associations for me (plus there are the siamese cats!). But Toy Story was a good story and I really have a thing for that animation style (Pixlar?).When you watched Disney movies (or if you still do), what was/is your favorite? (This is animated movies.) The choices are the ones off the top of my head, I couldn't possibly list them all.
19The standard 10-15 days of vacation a year just doesn't cut it. I enjoy working and would probably go nuts if I didn't have something to do daily (that indicates a bit of lack of direction on my part that I'd probably overcome after a month or three of not working) but I really value my time off. And I love to travel. It's hard to travel somewhere and spend a week there. If given an option between a raise in salary, shorter working hours (for the same weekly pay), or more paid vacation which would you choose?
20I guess I'm sentimental in terms of which posessions mean a lot to me. The things that evoke a memory or some emotion are the things I end up treasuring most. On the other hand, in terms of something like cloths or furniture, I'm attracted by dark, rich colors and by soft/fuzzy textures. What makes you like something? Things that effect your choices. What do you like best?
