6081Little bit of both and it depends on the person how much of which.

Too bad there wasn't an option for that...
Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body?
6082Tsawwassen, most people say it with a silent S, some people say it with a silent T. I suspect the correct way to say it is as though you have marbles in your mouth...no offense to our Native brethren...Is there a city or town name in your area which is pronounced in a way which would be considered strange to an outsider?
6083I love doing these...I don't think I'm going to do so well this time around.

Charlton Heston: American actor. Famous for telling everyone that Soylent Green is people.
Elvis Stojko: Canadian figure skater. Probably a homo. * raspberry *
Frank Lloyd Wright: American architect of the early 20th century.
Gregory Peck: Another American actor. "To Kill a Mockingbird" comes to mind...
John A. MacDonald: First Canadian Prime Minister AKA "the father of confederation".
John Cage: Probably the greatest American composer of the 20th century.
Johnnie Cochrane: American lawyer, successfully defended the juice.
Johnny Cash: One of the great American C&W singers.
Kemal Atatürk: See John A. MacDonald above, translate into Turkish.
LaToya Jackson: Michael Jackson's little sister. Used to be on TV...
Noam Chomsky: (correct spelling) Professor of Linguistics at MIT, author, lecturer, prominent US foreign policy critic, anarchist...
Paul Simon: The more talented half of Simon & Garfunkel.
Tom Brokaw: American newsreader.
Virginia Woolf: English novelist.
Yanni: Another one of those Greek New Age synthesizer-playing guys that goes by one name, not to be confused with Vangelis.

Okay, those are the ones I know for sure and ticked off. A few other ones I'll take a stab at...

Benedict XVI: Sounds like a Pope.
Empress Eugénie: Some European royal, sounds familiar, can't remember who she is or where she's from.
Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: Sounds like Ayatollah Khomeini. I can't keep track of these guys...
Jasim bin Jabir: There was an alchemist named "Jabir", I don't think he had a longer name than that though...
Jenna Jameson: Sounds familiar. I'm thinking about Spiderman comic books...
Nebuchadnezzar: I'm thinking ancient Sumeria or something...
Philip V of Macedon: Sounds familiar. I can't tell you anything beyond the obvious.
Which of the following people do you recognise? IIII
6084I know that now. I started checking all my "wrong" answers after I posted. Benedict XVI is the current Pope, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the current Ayatollah, Empress Eugénie was Napoleon's wife...*blushes*

I'm not surprised that I didn't know who Jenna Jameson is...far too young for my taste! * grin *

6085I don't know him. I know that the other one died a while back and that they got a new one, but I wouldn't know him if he showed up at my door right now. (Although the hat might be a clue!) * raspberry * Which of the following people do you recognise? IIII
6086Actually, I should have said "Napoleon III" so as not to be confused with his more famous stepfather. He died in 1873, she died in 1920.Which of the following people do you recognise? IIII
6087Me too! I'll often catch myself bowing to a prune danish and then feeling silly... * grin * Which of the following people do you recognise? IIII
6088I was wondering about that. I often check my answers afterwards. I was thinking she was on some sitcom back in the seventies or something...Obviously I haven't been keeping very good track. * smile * Which of the following people do you recognise? IIII
6089Given that I recently dated an archaeologist I have a more realistic view. Riding around in helicopters, slogging through muck, spending a lot of time in the office writing reports...What comes closest to the way you view archaeology?
6090I don't have to, they are almost always closed anyway. The only time I open them is when I want to look out, then I close them again right away. I don't have drapes in the kitchen, so that's where I usually do my looking out the window...Do you close your window shades/curtains/blinds when you go to sleep?
