| 51 | I'll be voting for Nader since a Kerry win is pretty much a sure thing in "my county." Yes, I am Canadian, but I have dual citizenship. And yes, I didn't vote in the last Canadian federal election, but I sent in my request for an absentee ballot for this one. This one's just far more exciting (and vital).
If we've got Paul Martin in Canada and Bush in the US, I'm going to have to pick a different continent to live on when I leave Korea! Suggestions are welcome. | Who should be elected President of the United States of America in November? |
Yes, it turned out to be mono. The second time it happened to me, I was a teacher, and a sore throat is a common occupational hazard. | Have you ever had a sore throat that won't seem to go away?
Originality is what really gets my attention. | What influences you the most when deciding if you like a song?
I am pretty much always itchy. I get a few new mosquito bites every day, and to make things worse, I've developed a nasty case of atopic eczema (a kind of allergic reaction) on various parts of my body. It drives my boyfriend nuts, especially when we're trying to watch a movie together or when we go to bed. I just can't stop scratching! | Are you itchy?
My favorite neighborhood pizza place, Aldo's, closed, which was tragic. Also possibly the best hamburger restaurant in Montreal, "Il Etais Une Fois." They served fantastic burgers in a basket with real, fresh fries (skins on and all), and fountain sodas. And they had a penny gumball machine, so I used to gather my pennies when I was going there with my family and fill a bag with gum balls before going home. | Did you have a restaurant that you enjoyed going to, but is no longer in business?
24.26036% geek... and I'm not sure if that's more or less than I expected. | How much of a geek are you according to this "Geek Test"?
I would miss swimming and baths, pool and snooker, and trampolines, I guess. I rarely have a chance to play on a trampoline, but I like to think I might have the opportunity again sometime. Oh yeah, and I'd miss swings, although the thrill that results from momentarily being so high off the ground would likely be gone. | If there was no gravity on earth, I sure would miss......
Hmmm, it seems some people are confused between gravity and the atmosphere. Are we supposing the Earth loses its gravitational pull but retains its atmosphere? | If there was no gravity on earth, I sure would miss......
Absolutely. If I have enough stress of any kind, it will always manifest itself physically, whether through muscle stiffness, headaches or nausea. And if the stress is prolonged, I often get sick eventually. | Does intense emotional stress cause you physical pain?
I used to, but not anymore (in certain settings). I live with my boyfriend, and most of my friends are guys, and they all burp and fart openly, so I've gotten used to it. One time I forgot myself and burped out loud unabashedly at my mom's house while my brother's wife (who is from France) was present. She was horrified, and all conversation stopped. I truly offended her French sensibilities. | Do you find blatant burping and farting offensive?
