The one thing I can say is that if I were a parent and my child saw that while we were watching what most expect to be an appropriate event I'd be a little upset. | 10 | My rule is I don't choose a pet I let the animal choose me. I figure i'll fall in love with any cat I bring home but they don't have to like me. So if they already like me at the shelter then we're off to a good start. I did kind of break my rule with my two cats. We got Maddie from the Humane Society and we chose her because she was hiding in the back of the cage. She just looked so scared so we took her home. Funny thing is shes now the most out going cat ever. With Bailey we got her from a friend and again we picked her because she was the runt and none of the other kittens were playing with her.
