Obviously depends what you mean by "stupid", but if it'd be a seriously large change, I don't think I'd take the drug. | Scenario: You have a disease that every expert tells you will kill you in a year unless you take a drug that will make you permanently stupid for the rest of your life. Do you take the drug?
I have courageously led a dull and cowardly life. | What do you feel is the most courageous thing you have done? Why? (and how do you define courageous?)
Damn my last comment sounded cocky. I think I'm gonna follow Steve's lead and shut my mouth. | What were your SAT scores?
Will be physics. | What was (or is or will be) your major as an undergrad?
I am a 19 year old physics/math/astrophysics freshman student at UC Berkeley (sorry hunter, already found housing for next year ). I am originally from San Diego, and yes I did know Dolemite in high school and he does, by chance, happen to live in the same dorm as I do. My girlfriend of a little over 2 years is still a senior in high school in San Diego, and we've been doing the long distance relationship thing for about a year now, and will probably continue to because she will be attending Columbia next year. I'm a (more and more) left of center 6'1 150 lb. white male who just recently cut off his long hair (I still have the pony tail in my drawer, and yes I know that's gross). My wardrobe consists of about 15 T-shirts in different shades of blue and a few pairs of jeans and jean shorts (very exciting). I am an agnostic with tendancies towards athiesm, believe that my life has no meaning at all so I might as well just take it easy and enjoy it (a combination of ideas from the two artists that have effected my life the most: Greg Graffin [Bad Religion], and Jonathan Larson [RENT]). My one vice would probably have to be Coca-Cola, which I drink religiously). I am a classic rock freak who also loves a-capella groups and classical music. I am told I'm an excellent listener, and tend to enjoy helping people with their problems. I used to backpack all the time, have done the Grand Canyon 7 times, and just did the John Muir Trail two summers ago, but have not been able to find the time to do that since I've been in college. I'm sure I could come up with much more but it's finals week and I really need to be gone. Cho. ***Geez pigeon, calm down, she's not forcing her views on anyone, I thought she was being very respectful. I'm an atheist, but I've seen what religion can do to help people's lives. If he tries it, and it's what he's looking for, so much the better for him, if not, so what? Who are we, with different world views to crap on that? | Here is some information about me:
I don't think it would be very appropriate on a family site like this one | What is your favorite expression in a foreign language? And what does it mean when translated?
I start with the easiest and work up. | When playing a computer game which allows you to set the skill level of your opponent, do you set it...
I put "No, and I don't care to change it", but when you think about it, that answer is contained in "Yes, I budget it appropriately all the time" because if you don't care to change it, it must be appropriate for you. I put the No one because I would suspect that most people would say I don't do it "appropriately." but who are they to say that? Oh well, I had to pick one. | Do you budget your time appropriately?
Oh, you mean college... | Do you find this appealing: Spending a week with friends - in a secluded but connected place, where you are all working on personal projects.
Well, aren't you just the new age Lewis and Clark there Dolemite. (P.S. take a class in Dwinelle, that'll change quickly ) | Scenario: You are utterly lost and alone on a dark starless night, walking on a road with no way of communicating with anyone. You come to a 4 way intersection, which way do you go?
