I am, and have always been, torn between the last two. | Mankind should make this kind of investment in space-travel:
I dono I guess, I wouldn't put any label on it, outside of the fact that it feels good to me to make other people happy. (also, what Elijablue said) <--I should just have a macro for that | I do good instead of evil because...
1-2 days a week, and the one about the last meal coming after dinner. Oh the joys of college life. | How often do you eat breakfast?
I really can't pick any of them. I feel that in subjects that I cared about and needed to know, I got more than adequate instruction in, and other ones that I either didn't take any classes in or didn't care about it was adequate for me, because it wasn't really relevant. | Which subject is most inadequately taught?
I think I'd take them out | If a couple you wished to impress were coming over for dinner, what meal would you prepare for them? Assume they'll eat anything.
Really? For those of you who put that there should be more emphasis on geography in schools; how much more enriched would your day to day lives be if you knew where Bali was? Somehow I doubt that it would be all that relevant at all. Like our nation is falling apart or something if our children can't point out some city/state/country that has little to no affect on their daily lives. A lot of kids these days have bigger things to worry about. If I had to go to high school 6 hours a day, then work a 25+ hour a week job to support my family and make sure they can eat, I'm not gonna give a f*** where my state capital is. You're right pigeon, our nation is falling apart, but I'll tell you right now, it's sure as hell not because kids don't know their geography. I do, however, agree with most of the comments on culture, and I suppose some geography would be moderately important there, but I think the cultural lessons would be more valuable. | Geography.... Without checking do you know where the following are?
None of the above. But I've got a lot of time left to change that, . | Finances. Which of the following has happened to you?
Some place with a fancy hotel with a really cool pool...and a beach. Basic goal: lie around and feel no pressure to do anything at all, but if I want to, have there be some lazy activities. Maybe somewhere in hawaii...? I'm not really sure I'm afraid. | Where would you go for your dream vacation?
I had past shoulder length hair for the last 3+years, but I just cut it off to about ear length a little over a month ago...I like it, but I kinda miss my old hair sometimes. | HAIR!
I live in a (gender mixed) dorm, and have been sharing a bathroom with all the females on my floor for the better part of a year now. I have no problem at all with it. I wouldn't go around crusading saying we need more or anything, but it's a fine idea. **No, there aren't any urinals in mine, and it's perfectly cool. We share the stalls, showers, and sinks. No one really gives it a second thought. | Unisex public (at work or in bars, etc.) bathrooms are...
