heh, my girlfriend goes away to China at least once a year as a matter of fact. I miss her, and of course I look forward to the chances to be alone to get time in before she goes, but other than that, not really any of the above. (Yeah, I'm in a long distance relationship too, but I made the assumption that I was physically with her and then she had to go. Not too hard to imagine ). | Your significant other is suddenly called away to China for a week and a half on business. You...
I don't want to say that because of biology, people have no choices and no responsibilities, but I'm afraid genetics plays a LARGE role in tendencies towards alcoholism. I have no alcoholics in my family, and would probably be able to drink about as much as I wanted whenever I wanted and not become an alcoholic (just like I can eat whatever I want and not get fat, that has my skinny parents written all over it). Doesn't it seem strange to anyone that something like 90% of alcoholics had at least one parent/grandparent that was a alcoholic? Granted that might be a learned behavior in some cases, but (see kirst's comment, which is a VERY common situation) you would find most doctors agreeing that one of the largest factors is biology. | Alcoholism. If you check any of the first 16 options, please comment.
I suppose it depends how you mean it. If you could choose who you communicated with and who you couldn't I dono, that might be kinda cool. I'd like to be able to span the 500 miles between me and my girlfriend with a brief thought, however, you start getting telemarketers into the mix and... **damnit jjg, you got my joke before me | Would linking all human minds together (such that direct non-verbal communication would be instantaneous with anyone on the planet) be a good thing or a bad thing?
Right eye dominant, left handed. May have to do with the fact that I have pretty crappy vision with my left eye though. | Look at something distant. Bring your hands (at arms length) slowly together until this object is just visible between your thumbs/pointer fingers. Now pull your hands in, watching that object, until they reach your face.
I see spots at places where there light last was (as in, a spot where the lit lightbulb/sun was). Light also includes large white objects. It gets a lot cooler when you push though. | If you close your eyes, and cover them with the palm of your hand (no pressure, just block all the light, what do you see?
My friend ben rules. I would say my dad, but he's kinda boring sometimes. Ben knows when to be cautious and when to mess around. I feel completely safe with him driving. | More on driving: Outside yourself, who is the best driver you know?
No, no, never. I can barely reach the shoelaces on my high tops. | While standing, with your knees straight, can you bend over and touch your toes?
Oh! heh, I thought you were asking if you had the ability to draw one of the above well, which would it be. *bonk* Revoted... | Assuming you were granted the ability to draw extremely well, would you know how to draw...
You can't live in Berkeley without eating pizza at least once a week Artichoke hearts are heavenly on pizzas. | Pizza!
The one at the top of my street in San Diego. These morons always park their big ass trailer thing on the corner so I can't see the on coming traffic. | Where is your least favorite place to drive?
