| 37 | I noticed that my boyfriend wasn't in bed beside me and I wondered where he was. For a second I was confused on the time. I was afraid I had slept all day and that it was near 3:00pm-- but when my eyes focused I realized it was only 7:00am..... ;) BTW- Good survey. | What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up this morning? |

| 39 | HAHAHA!... I've been harassed many many times. I had a co-worker try to kiss me when my shift ended. He didn't really give me much choice because my back was turned to him at first and he came up behind me.. Yeck.. I had a client come up behind me and try to kiss my ear and neck. I elbowed him in the side and told him to back off. He did the same thing again not too long after the first incident. (Btw- I work at a drug and alcohol rehab..) -- I elbowed him harder the second time and went up front and told my boss. He was kicked out later that day. Many of my co-workers thought I didn't do the right thing. They all liked the guy and how he flirted with them. I thought he was a sleeze who thought all women loved him. Some of my co-workers even thought I started it-- or that I led him on. I became pretty upset. I work with a lot of idiots. I was arrested for not paying a traffic ticket not too long ago. (The ticket was a year old and it was a SEAT BELT ticket!) The cop came to my door and took me to jail where my step mother had to bail me out. Some of my co-workers thought it was funny to put my police report that was in the local paper on the board at work. I went off on some co-workers....... Not too long ago a co-worker came up to me and yelled at me in front of clients and staff. She said I had made a mistake on some paper work and it would end up keeping the company from making some money. We ended up getting into another raised argument up front in her office (over the same issue) where I'm sure I said quite a few things that I shouldn't have said- but I'll be damned if someone will talk to me that way. As it turned out the 'accident' wasn't mine- and she just wanted to place it on some one elses shoulders and I was the best scape goat. She had also been taking some of my paper work out of files to make it seem like I wasn't doing my job very well. She was caught on Friday. Im looking forward to see what happens. I'm always getting hit on my clients-- but I take that as part of the job. In the end they know I'm not available and they quit trying. (Sorry about the long post) | Have you ever been harassed at work? |
| 40 | No.. I don't. There's a guy who writes for a local 'paper' in town that isn't too far away. He's always using big words, but he never uses them in the right context. It ends up making him look like an idiot in the end. It's a bit annoying. I don't see any reason in trying to talk over another persons head on purpose. If you do that then you're losing the purpose of speech in the first place ..(which is communication...) What's the point in having someone stare at you with a blank face......? Heh. ;) | Do you purposely use big words sometimes just to make yourself appear smarter? |
