| 253 | I never said that America was the center of the world. Where did I say that? What I said went right over your head. You haven't stopped to understand it. What I interpreted the question to ask was... no matter what country you live in (Brazil, Egypt, whatever) what region of it do you live in. "East" is my answer. You just happed to be correct that I lived in the USA. If I happened to live on the East coast of Australia, again, my answer would have been simply "East." The question doesn't ask us to give the country unless we don't know what region we live in. If you want to know the name of the country and what region of it do I live then I would say, "Eastern United States." When you responded with "China" to my answer of "East" I thought that you must have been asking what region of the world because China is considered in the eastern region (I think). I am sorry you feel we Americans are arrogant. I have heard many Americans say similiar things of people from England. Many feel you are also snooty. I am sure some Americans are arrogant and so are some from your country. I have never been to England, but my parents really enjoy visiting. | What region do you live in? |
