I feel that being different shows your real personality and if you mask it with what's hot without really having an opinion one way or the other then you HAVE no personality. We all need a personality! If we all conformed to what was "hot" we'd all be a bunch of Borgs (sorry if I infringe on a copyright law here...don't sue me!) and never do anything great. Women wouldn't be scientists, they'd be the virtual slaves of men. And, if you schoolkids wanna take this one, everyone would wear the same thing and every girl would have the same sort of guy...gee, boring, right??
