Yes, definitely. In fact, there are rules against it on some e-mail servers, I believe. I think it falls under one of those "privacy" laws. But that was my initial reaction...I went back and checked "no." It doesn't seem right that these spammers should be allowed to annoy us this way, but what could the government do anyway?? It'd just create another underground! Who can stop a persistent advertiser? Loopholes, loopholes.... | Should the government regulate email spam?
I am a full-time student, and if I feel sick on a day there is a test I did not study for, I will go all-out to stay home. It doesn't really matter how sick I am then. It could range from a mild stomach ache to the black plague and I'd MAKE it enough to stay home. I guess that's just the way I am. If I don't like it, I try to avoid it. Not the best way to get by in the world, I know I know, but the way of a lot of us lazy students. | This is a question about taking Sick Days at work (or staying home from school if you are a full-time student). How sick do you have to be? What factors tip the scales when you're deciding whether to stay home sick or not? How do you handle being sick?
If something touches me emotionally, it doesn't have to be sad, it will make me cry. Songs have come to the brink of making me cry before, just because they are so emotional. | It's all right to cry ...
None, I don't have a car. | How much car maintenance do you perform on your vehicle yourself?
It falls to the lunar surface, slower than it would on Earth, but the moon DOES have gravity and the pen WILL fall. | Quiz: An astronaut stands on the moon holding a ball-point pen in front of her. She releases the pen, giving it no push in any direction. What does the pen do?
Well, it depends who I'm talking to and what time I go to bed. If I go to bed at, say 2 AM, then 9 AM is early, and if I go to bed at 10 PM, then 6 AM is early. (Heck, any time before 8 AM is early any day!) | If you were say to someone, "I have to get up early tomorrow", what does "early" mean to you? (generally)
Age and ability are important; however, people should be ASKED when they want adult responsibilities, to a certain degree. Drinking, driving, etc. should not fall under these guidelines, but I think that being a "minor" should be a matter of ability and maturity, not just age. A fifteen-year-old can easily be more mature than any 21-year-old. | ADULTHOOD: In our society, a discrimination is made between "minors" and "adults" as to their rights and responsibilities. What do you consider a fair and/or relevant way(s) of making the distinction?
I like hugging; I think it's a good expression of affection without really committing yourself to anything. Also, among friends, it's a recognized expression of affection if you don't want to go so far as kissing. | Do you like hugging?
Stuffed animals, pets, family, friends (if they'll let me). | Who do you hug?
I don't actually notice the sign of people I'm talking to. I have no idea what to answer to this question. | Are there any astrological signs you usually get along with well?
