I was talking about the ancient Greek mythology stories being as silly as your Christian mythology story about Satan as a snake impregnating a woman and giving birth to a whole race of human Satan spawn. If you say that is true then I have to assume that the Greek goddess Athena was born from the head of her father the Greek god Zeus, and that she was born in adult form with her battle armor.
I will be voting for either Obama or Clinton. McCain is a doddering old man. We NEED socialized medicine and socialized education. | 53 | Socialized medicine emphasizes prevention much more than the system we have now. People can't afford a doctor visit so they don't go to get things like routine prenatal care, or diabetes check ups. Then they end up in the ER with complications and the people end up paying more. Who said anything about the world? I'm talking about the US of A here. Of course there will always be poor people but they have a right to the same medical care and education as anybody else. Again, when did I say anything about the world? Look at Canada as a model, I say. I am ok with legal immigration, but not illegal and I do think we should limit the numbers not because they are immigrants but because we are struggling to take care of who we have here now. Again, look at Canada. They need you before they let you move in. Now, I don't care about who is the breadwinner and I don't care about a couple's sex, opposite or same. I do think that ideally a parent should be home. One of my brothers spent a couple of years being the stay at home parent. His wife made more money, she liked working, she had more drive and was more organized. My brother is more laid back, more patient and loved doing the day to day home things. He's an excellent cook, she is not. It was a fabulous arrangement. And if you are under, I think it was 16, and over 60 you don't have to pay at all. If I didn't pay $530 out of pocket every month for health insurance my medications would cost me over $1000 a month.
