| 51 | Let your kid relative take the wrap!?! Come on Is he over it by now, at least? Or did that occur last Tuesday? Ha! | Welcome to the "Have You Ever Fest" Survey |
| 52 | I LOVE those "Twilight Zone" marathons! One I've watched was the debut of "Absolutely Fabulous", on the Comedy Channel. I remember it was Thanksgiving Day, and I was alone for some reason. But I watched the whole thing and ended up turning my friends on to the show after that. | Welcome to the "Have You Ever Fest" Survey |
| 53 | Absolutely Fabulous (known as "AbFab") is a "French & Saunders creation". It was spun off from a skit in BBC's French & Saunders Show - a hit variety gig in UK. One Thanksgiving, Comedy Channel aired the first three seasons and the show took off with a major bang in the US.
I heard Rosanne Barr bought the rights to the show, and I haven't seen it aired ever since. IMDB's has a written summary of the show: "Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy drive Eddie's sensible daughter, Saffron, up the wall with their constant drug abuse and outrageous selfishness. Numerous in-jokes and heavy doses of cruel humour have made this series a cult hit in the UK and abroad." Here's a link to their site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/abfab/ Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French are about the most brilliant comics alive, if you ask me. They did this one skit, posing as if the two of them were God, conjuring up the human race together. They would laugh their heads off every time they came up with a different idea how they would really "stuck it" to the women gender. It was brilliant. | Welcome to the "Have You Ever Fest" Survey |
| 54 | Like I said, it seems not to have aired since Rosanne Barr bought the rights to the show in the US. Too bad, it's well-missed. | Welcome to the "Have You Ever Fest" Survey |
| 55 | Isn't it a cool show?! How you been? I haven't been around much until recently, but I saw you say you've been gone as well. Everything cool with you? | Welcome to the "Have You Ever Fest" Survey |
| 56 | I don't want to know of them. My roommate in Portugal used to "let 'em rip" while we were all seated around a table in our room, playing Spades. I'd complain, and his argument was always, "What?? They don't smell!" I finally told him, "It's just the thought of breathing in the air that's been locked up inside your ass that turns me off."
He cracked up, saying he'd never thought of it that way. | Would you rather have silent farts that smell strong or loud farts that don't smell at all? |
| 57 | I've learned to handle either by now. | Compliments or constructive criticism? Which do you handle better? |
| 58 | Hi! How have ya' been? I just sent an email to DABprovin@msn.com - it's from my newer email address, jedifice@comcast.net. Drop me a line - it's been a looooong time!
When is the festival this year? Have I missed it again? Is Krystal around these days? Looking forward to hearing from you! | Compliments or constructive criticism? Which do you handle better? |
| 59 | You've given the BEST ANSWER yet! Way to go, L!
But - can I add? - maybe you shouldn't shrug off either of these things. Please. Think about it. (Haha! Only you would "get" all that above!) | Compliments or constructive criticism? Which do you handle better? |
| 60 | Have you lost weight? Even if you haven't, you are so special. Is that a new hairstyle? Only you can wear that outfit to put the models to shame.
You're a great cook, by the way. I love you. (HA!) | Compliments or constructive criticism? Which do you handle better? |
