My answer (27-29) is misleading. While it is true that I have at least part of all my non-wisdom teeth (had all four yanked at once, as my mouth is small, and most of them were severely impacted), I have had so much dental work, that the ratio of tooth material to artificial ingredients is frightfully low! I have had two root canals, have a crown on one molar, and have some sort of filling in pretty nearly every tooth. This is the result of a combination of being absolutely terrible about taking care of my teeth as a child, and having had a dentist who developed double vision before he stopped practicing. I am still pretty bad about going to the dentist (it's generally years between checkups), but when I have, I've been told that my recent tooth care must be quite good, as I don't often get new cavities. I only wish I had gotten into better habits before my teeth got so damaged! | How many teeth do you have?
I'm not sure about some of these, because I don't quite know what it really means. For example, "commit adultery" - I have never been married, so I would claim "no", but I have had partnersex (with a divorcee, on some instances), so I am not certain. | Which of the ten commandments have you NOT broken?
Left, and I'm left-handed (which of course, means I am somewhat ambidextrous in this right-dominated world!) | Don't think, just do this: Clasp your hands together, fingers interlocking, like you're patiently waiting. Now, which thumb is on top, right or left?
Timothy Leary, Peter Gabriel, Frank Zappa, John F. Kennedy, Benjamin Franklin, and Mark Twain (ok, so that's six. I can't decide who I would leave out) *** After reading other people's choices, I think I need to make it dinner for 20 or so! (so I could also invite Robin Williams, Laurie Anderson, Jesus Christ, Leonardo Davinci, M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali and his beautiful wife Gala, John Lennon, a few close personal friends and relatives, Aristotle, Plato, Joan of Arc, Dorothy Parker, and Winston Churchill, to name a few!) | If you could invite any 5 people to dinner, who would they be?
I think I would want to keep both, but would realize that would likely not be fair to the other parents (or the kids). Perhaps we could work out a group-parenting arrangement! | If you had a child and found out when the child was three that it had been switched at birth with another baby, would you want to switch?
Depending on what I am doing, music can be distracting or help me get work done. When I am coding, it can be helpful. When reading (or writing specs), it is distracting. Note that hese are both thought tasks. | Listening to music while working...
I am ticklish, more so in some places than others. I can control it fairly well, though, for a few seconds, at least. What mood I am in affects my ticklishness, too. | Are you ticklish?
Hmmm... I prefer "no cookies", too (but set my browser to prompt me, and nearly always answer "no"), but I don't remember any problems with the new domain. Probably, I just instinctively click "no" on the popup without thinking about it. | I think devoting a domain name to survey central is
If he is to appear, he should do so in person, just like anybody else is meant to do. I believe there is some verbage somewhere that states that the president is not meant to be involved in legal proceedings, at least in his own defense, while he is in office (other than congress deliberating about impeachment, at any rate). Such things are, I think meant to be deferred until the end of his term. Not that we have kept to this in his case so far, but... | How should President Clinton appear before Ken Starr's grand jury?
Whether the subpoena should be issued in the first place is another matter... | Should President Clinton have to testify before Ken Starr's grand jury if subpeonaed?
