A variety of songs will "get stuck in my head." The nature of the beast is that it is (nearly) always one that is terribly insipid, and I am compelled to try to drive it out one way or another. One prime example is the closing song from Lambchop's playhouse (or whatever the show is called) whose lyrics start "This is the song that doesn't end..." Oh, hell! Now it's stuck there! | Is there a particular song that frequently gets stuck in your head?
Turn signals or indicators. Can't stand when someone doesn't use them! (or leaves them on while driving down the highway). *** milktree: on my dash, they are . | what do you call those things that you turn on before making a turn?
I take reasonable care of my teeth at home, but don't visit the dentist as often as I ought. I generally get around to it about every 3-7 years, and often only need to get old fillings (from when I didn't take care of my teeth and had a dentist with double vision) replaced. The last dentist I visited commented that I must take good care of them, given the shape they were in and the time since my last visit. Still, I ought to have checkups more frequently. | How often do you visit the dentist? (Emergency visits do not count.)
Many years ago, on a whim, I played one of those crane games for the first time, and won - a pair of fuzzy dice! Naturally, I had these hanging from the rear-view mirror for quite some time. I no longer let anything hang from my rear-view mirror, and hate when I work for a company that wants me to hang a parking permit from it (which usually don't fit my Saab mirrors, anyway). I usually end up just letting it sit on the dash. *** Thanks for the reminder, lizzie! I, too, used to have HS and Undergrad tassles hanging from the rearview (including an "honors" one). Not anymore, though. | What hangs from your rear-view mirror?
I checked options based on an assumption that the relationship between my SO and I is a good one. | Your significant other is suddenly called away to China for a week and a half on business. You...
Only if we could turn on and off our individual connections at will. | Would linking all human minds together (such that direct non-verbal communication would be instantaneous with anyone on the planet) be a good thing or a bad thing?
15 out of 21. Given my pacifist tendencies, I would say the choices are a tad skewed, but maybe that's just me. | Are you a well rounded individual? (From a quote by Robert Heinlein)
There is probably a preference, but I can make either eye seem dominant without much effort. | Look at something distant. Bring your hands (at arms length) slowly together until this object is just visible between your thumbs/pointer fingers. Now pull your hands in, watching that object, until they reach your face.
... inside of myself, it's too dark to read. | More on driving: Outside yourself, who is the best driver you know?
And I used to be able to put my palms on the floor w/o bending my knees, but I haven't kept myself flexible. | While standing, with your knees straight, can you bend over and touch your toes?
