The doctors did every thing they could claiming it wouldn't be enough, but today my friend is completely normal and living a great life. | 14 | I used to worry about everything, then I realized it didn't do any good so why bother. I gotten much better about not worrying and the stress factor has been greatly diminished as well. My husband was rushed to the hospital because a 400 pound control panel was dropped on him. I went into the hospital totally calm the nurses could not believe it. | 15 | My dad and both my grandfathers were alcoholics before I was born. My one granddaddy died last Thanksgiving mostly from hardening arteries. They caused a heartattack. He was perfectly healthy every other way, his mind was working perfectly and he was 85 years old. We were very close and I miss him a lot. The doctor told us his hardening arteries were caused from him smoking and drinking so much when he was younger. My other grandfather died when I was 2 years old from cancer brought on by smoking and drinking. My dad is in good health and doing well so far,but he does look much older than his 56 years. I have vowed to never smoke and the only time I drink is for special occasions which is maybe once every two months. | 17 | I would have to go with computer literacy. I am 26, but I never saw a computer until eigth grade. In my senior year I took a business computer class, because they were getting new computers. We got the new computers, but no instruction manuals. We ended up teaching the teacher how to use the computer. | 20 | I am actually allergic to fresh cut grass. If I get around someone cutting grass, my eyes get itchy, red, and swell up. I have had my eyes swollen shut before, when my allergy first flared up and I didn't know what was happening or why. I was about 12 or 13, I am 26 now and it still happens if I get around someone cutting grass.
