| 43 | N O N E!! I think drugs are the downfall of many. I personally have never taken illegal drugs nor would I want to. I have unfortunately taken legal prescribed drugs, which I feel can be very damning (didn't know it at the time). The Bible warns us of the use of drugs. What a way for someone to control a country, but by the use of drugs. How easy it would be to control the masses of people but by mind twisting drugs, to lose their spirit and common sense. In my youth, thank God, drugs were not prevalent, the group of people I chose to be friends, never took drugs. Today, if I were young, because of my strong faith and guidance of my parents, I would still choose never to take drugs. I have a question for those of you that have taken drugs, WHY?? I once read an article that said statistically there are 50,000 people that would be suited for any one individual. In other words, there are 50,000 people with whom I would find well suited for me. I can't marry them all, but could be friends. I have respected, admired many men (the sexiest men to me are those that are good husbands and fathers), but I wouldn't choose to marry or have an intimate relationship. I would have respect for the relationship, marriage I am in and the other person's relationship (if there was one). If everyone thought of their marriage as something they could not "get out of" (divorce) they would try a lot harder to make the relationship work. | 46 | I feel they are important to those involved. I have a cousin that is "special." She is a lovely girl and is very active in sporting events. My aunt and uncle treated her as they did their other three children. Whether it be "special", paralympics or whatever, it is important to those family and friends of these people. Whenever you make a friend to a "special" person, you make one for life. Many years ago,about 25 years ago, I made conversation with my neighbor's "special" daughter. I talked to her, paid attention to her, ever since she calls me often, writes me. The girl is now a woman of 38 years, 5'9" and has the mind of a child. Her mother said she always talks about me. This has been going on for 25 years. I feel those that are handicapped or less fortunate need our help and need approval. | How do you rate the importance of the Paralympics? |
