| 93 | Well then, it's a form of compassion. I forgot about the bravery element of chivalry. It's just that people are far less inclined to help another than they should be. You hear about the way entire communities rally to assist a suddenly-homeless neighbor, then you hear about an ice-cream vendor getting stabbed and being ignored and robbed of his wares while laying, bleeding, on the sidewalk. A lot of people don't seem to care about others, any more. Everyone should try to be chivalrous, because an inherent part of it is caring about another person and putting them ahead of yourself. | In your opinion, is chivalry dead? |
