A slow download sucks. The faster the better. Why would you want super-high speed Internet versus high-speed Internet? In other words, what are some activities or reasons why you would choose to get the highest speed tier of broadband?
No, on the contrary. (Why is this in the "monkeeeeee" category?)Does God hate me?
Languages: Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, a Slavonic language - but they are extremely difficult! (Order of interest). Cultures of other countries, in particular oriental. What would you like to learn more about?
You lucky one! In my ears, Russian is absolutely beautiful (Polish not, although the Polish grammar is most interesting). By the way, we have one thing in common: Latin was my favourite subject at school (no. 1 = Tacitus * smile * ). I admit, however, that speaking Italian for a few years has weakened my knowledge of Latin.

(Is "Slavonic" the wrong term? My (one language) English dictionary does not have the word "Slavic" but "Slavonic" instead. It says "adj. of the Slavs or their languages". )

Difficult to answer that ("how much"). I was never fluent in it (that is, actively speaking it) but I read texts by Caesar * yawn * , Cicero ("In Catilinam" was the text by which I was infected with the Latin virus [do you know that "virus" is one of the two words of neuter gender inflected -us, -i etc? - I forgot which is the other one], Sallustius, Ovidius, Horatius, Catullus * shock * , and Tacitus Quintuple Gold Star ("Germania" * grin * , "Annales" * wink * ). All this was many years ago, and it is now covered by other things, but the old love is still there under the surface. I'd have loved to learn to actually speak Latin but in the small town where I lived then I never found anybody who had the same fever.
