| 86 | Be careful, there are numerous cases where the owner is in turn sued by the thief for having such an injury done to them. ie: cripple them... I don't agree, but that is the way it is. Another example was the person who put up a 9 ft privacy wall and to keep people from climbing over it, he embedded broken glass on the top, well someone jumped up, to see inside and cut their hands all up and succesfully sued the homeowner. Although the court left the decision in such a manner as to lead me to believe that if the person had built a fence around that fence on their property and set it back so that the two could not be physically considered attached, they would have won. | Would you treat a female thief that entered your house differently than a male thief? |
