I'm doing more chasing than running. Are you chasing something or running away from something?
Barefoot, but I usually wear socks.Socks or Barefoot-- Which do you prefer?
I could have written a really interesting, exciting and brilliant account of my experiences in Psychiatry today ( * wink * ), but alas, I had a nap when I got home. The most exciting thing I've done since I woke up again is have a shower. Not so exciting...What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
Congratulations! * grin * You'd applied to two courses there, right? Did you get into the one you liked the most? You're going to love it!What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
I sat in on a really interesting Psychiatric clinic. There are some very sad stories though * frown * What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
You must be "made up" (got to start speaking the lingo * wink * ).What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
Well, I actually can't really go into too much detail because delusions/hallucinations are often very personal and could potentially identify a patient. But I have seen a patient with a "chip in her neck allowing the CIA to control her" and a man whose "home has been filled with tiny video cameras and listening devices" which are both very common delusions. What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
Really? Halls is a good way to meet people in first year, especially if you want to get to know people who aren't on your course. I was in halls for the entirety of my first degree (not much choice in Oxford unless you're really, really well off) and although it was annoying at times, I wouldn't have made some of the friends that I did if I hadn't been there. I've only lived in private housing since starting at medical school and because of that, I only know medics and don't really have any sense of the wider university. I'm sure that if you're eager to push to get involved then it's possible, but being in halls definitely makes that stuff easier. And it can just be for a year! If you are set on private housing in Liverpool, choose the area with care - a lot of the places in easy walking distance of the university (and that aren't taken up by halls) can be a bit dodgy. That said, my brother lived in Kensington for two years, which is not a nice part of Liverpool, as a weird bearded mosher type and he never had any trouble there. Do you have any thoughts about where abouts you're aiming to be?What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
I took a really interesting history from a man with debilitating anxiety, and I went to see Up In The Air at the cinema with friends..What is the most exciting thing that you've done since you last woke up?
I didn't know that it had a sad ending when I first read it. I just assumed that if it had been published, things must have worked out okay. Turning the page from the final entry and reading what happened next was just awful * frown * Have you read The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank?
