ok, maybe the other alternative wasn't so faulty cuz this one is easy .. emotional hurts much much more | In general, which hurts more?
return it, without fail | If a sales clerk mistakenly gave you extra money (US $10 equivalent) in change, what would you do?
it really varies. I have a new pair of jeans that are *really* comfy (and look damn good if I do say so) but I also have a bomber jacket that I wore as part of a costume my junior year (1989) that I"m *Still* wearing | How old are the clothes that you like to wear the most?
the concept of "luck" is cognitively empty -- but i like Steve's answer. a lot. Ok, Steve, you can marry me now. | Are you a lucky person?
and you could complete me and I could complete you | If you had to choose, which grouping of friends would you prefer?
well, 'rude to them' . . . I have no sympathy for "they're just doing their job" I feel that the practice is reprehensible, and if I can in any way contribute to the emotional suffering of the people who are pawns of those companies who telemarket, and maybe they'll go postal and quit -- then it's worth it. I also use them as an agression sink, punishing them for the crapty things that may have happened to me that day. twisted? sick? perhaps. I also take junk mail and spam VERY personally. pom: haunt you like the Furies? well maybe if you hadn't sold those junk bonds to Clytemnestra you wouldn't be in this predicament. Tsk. | How do you deal with telemarket solicitors?
but I tend toward grey. Weth: marry me this instant (sorry steve, you're deposed) | Grey or gray?
I am hyper (perhaps too) vigilant about not being over-familiar with this kind of thing. I think most of the women I work with know that I'm gay, so I rationalize it as 'safe' to do so, but I try to be respectful. I dunno, I'm glad you asked this question cuz it's something I think about a lot and I don't really know how I feel. Women, I'd appreciate it if you'd comment on how *you* feel when complimented on your appearance at work. I should mention, I also compliment guys I work with too. oh and to clarify, I restrict my comments to attire/hair etc, never like, physical characteristics "you have nice eyes, you have a great figure" -- that is , to me, clearly going too far | Is it OK to compliment a woman you work with on her looks?
dolemite I propose a trade. Pomeranian can "get over the fact that he's a loser for being an X-Files Nut" as soon as you get over the fact that YOU'RE a loser for saying "get over the fact that you're a loser for being an X-Files Nut." | Whom do you like better, Scully or Mulder? If you have a strong preference, why?
steve: oh lighten up | Which Doctor did you prefer? Why?
