37my primary objection to Theism (i.e. the belief in a god or gods) is that the term ("god") is meaningless. This is not the best forum for discussing why I believe that, but I can and will go on, at lenght, to anyone who has an actual bona fide interest in discussing it. Conversion attempts are not welcome. Also, let me state here for the record that some of my previous comments on the subject, though heartfelt, sincere and well-thought may have been less than sensitive to others and, worse, did not really serve my position.
Oh, hi dave.
Reality: your assertion that "if you say it means nothing to you than you're fooling yourself " is arbitrary and groundless. I think i know very well when something means something to me and when it does not, moreover the 'meaningfullness' of something (in a cognitive, epistemological sense) is not a matter of choice or convention.
