Since the quantity is not changed by the description, there's no limit (other than the practical issue of time) to how often this can be done. Is the fact that the quantity we're talking about is zero supposed to make this a profound issue? I don't think it does. It just means that the count describes not a thing, but the thing's absence. It is likely that the author of the comment you saw thought better of it and deleted it. It seems a bit rude of you to repost that comment including the name of the author, especially considering that you have chosen not to include your own name. If a user deletes his own comment, it might be because he has decided he doesn't want his name associated with those words.
