All depends on the rest room...especially the question about the door handle. I do use my foot to lift the toilet seat in most places.... | Drying your hands in a public restroom...
I don't get sick very often, but I can usually tell when it's coming. Those times I'll take a sick day even though I'm not sick yet which usually heads it off beforehand. Of course, there are also mental health days.... | This is a question about taking Sick Days at work (or staying home from school if you are a full-time student). How sick do you have to be? What factors tip the scales when you're deciding whether to stay home sick or not? How do you handle being sick?
I disagree about sushi...roasted garlic maki would probably be really tasty. Lessee...what else. Lemon Meringue Pie shouldn't have either. I'm sure I can think of others... | What food is NOT improved by the addition of either chocolate or garlic? (not both)
They are pretty evil in a lot of ways. You check the paper, you wind up with a realtor 9 times out of 10, at least in Boston. You see the apartment, give them a form, they check your credit. For this, you pay them a months rent. We're often talking $1000 for a relationship that lasts less than an hour. For the the person renting the place, they're a decent deal. Your apartment gets rented; you don't have to do anything except authorize the rentee as acceptable, and it doesn't cost you a cent. Fat city! | Realtors...
Wow, you forgot Kermit! | For those of you who watched Sesame Street, who was your favorite muppet on the show?
Any of the above can be funny, although none of them are inherently funny. Fig Newtons, on the other hand, are inherently funny. I was doing a theatre in the round production where the audience was about three feet from the stage and we were onstage and in character at all times. One of the things we did was eat snacks (we were supposed to be in a park) and one night I got the bag of Fig Newtons. I had to stifle the giggles through the whole performance; thank god I was supposed to be stoned.....:) | Which of the following things do think are inherently funny?
What about Bill Gates? | Who has too much power in the United States?
I'm a yes, but need some definition on what the reactions mean. I can be in a room with a cat, pet one, etc but I get very tired, and my skin itches (particularly my scalp. Ack!). After awhile it gets unpleasant enough that I have to leave and shower. It's better in houses that vacuum and dust frequently. So where do I fit on the scale? Probably "rather" to "quite", I'd guess. It's gotten worse lately as my friends keep buying cats (five in one house! What were they thinking?) Worst part is, I like the little buggers anyway. | Are you allergic to cats?
Liberate Schrodingers Cat! As far as the folks at work, depends on what you do for a living I suppose..... | Schroedinger's Cat ...
My bad; I didn't think to check the "back issues" before posting. Won't happen again. *lizzie and lisashea: I figured either "other" or the answer before it would cover your questions. "Other" covers a wide range of opinions and sins. :) The information I was most interested in was from people who have smoked them rather than those who haven't. Why did I want to know? Well, mostly I was bored on a Friday morning, but I'm also interested in the way a tobacco related activity has become so trendy right in the midst of probably the biggest public assault ever on the stuff. | Cigars
