Yes, you should switch. Initially, your chances of having the correct door are 1 in 3. After being shown that one of the other two doors is incorrect, the chances that the last remaining door is correct are the same as the chances that the door you already selected is wrong. Thus, your odds of winning by switching doors is 2/3.

Let's make a deal! Can you solve the Monty Hall puzzle?
I have a friend who attended Harvard, and more than once I actually visited and spent the night there with him... Harvard students are just ordinary people, too.If you were to find yourself talking with someone who is attending Harvard how would you feel?
I think in the modern era of sporting, it's probably a bit misleading to try to distinguish professional athletes from amateurs, from the standpoint that many of these "ameteurs" go on to get huge commercial endorsements. Generally, though, I think it's a lot better to send those who play for college teams, minor leaguers, etc, otherwise it's like having a high school kid beat up a 2nd grader.Do you think that professional athletes should be allowed to participate in the Olympic games?
When someone commits a crime, then serves their jail time, they've paid their price. If we cut their hand off or do anything else in such a permanent sense, they have no motivation to reform themselves and lead a normal life.Should a thief have his hand chopped off?
I think the sentiment is less about being anti-American and more about being pro-Canada.Would you consider this advertisement to be anti-American?
I'm a big fan of just about everything from the 80s. Choice stuff from the 70s too. (Unfortunately, the 70s also had a lot of crap mixed in) There is also some good music from the 90s, IMO, but it's scattered among a lot more two-bit bands and half-baked musical talent that's been destroyed by the money factor most often.Which of these types of music do you like?
I feel that any criminal who commits a "violent" crime (i.e. murder, rape, etc) should be hung on the spot. For all others, I'd say that living is worse punishment than death.Do you think that criminals who have committed serious crimes should have a choice between life in jail with no parole, and death?
I blow a nice amount of money on computer equipment... I don't think I've ever spent more than about $600 in one month. Usually it's not even that high, but when I find myself with lots of freetime to shop online, watch out. What is your #1 tangible vice, and how much do you spend on it every month?
I seriously doubt as though "licensing" parents would prevent those who really wanted to have children otherwise from doing so. And how would we enforce such regulations? What about unplanned pregnancies? No, no, no... too many cans of worms would be opened up by trying to regulate when people have children.Should people be required to get a license before having children?
If this question were instead "would you chop off a finger for a lot of money?", I'd say yes in a second. Eyesight is something I don't know how easily I could do without... and losing it would likely make irrelevant many of my typical uses for such money anyhow.Would you lose the sight in your eyes permanently for unlimited money?
