I picked music collection, books, and hobby stuff. These all indicate what types of things a person enjoys. I don't believe what type of car someone drives, how nice their house is, or how expensive their jewelry pieces are say much of anything about someone, other than that they may have money, or at least aren't opposed to carrying debt. **reality: you hit the nail on the head. This was my own twisted social experiment to look at the people making the judgements... | What material possession(s) do you think say the most about a person? (please check no more than 3). Please comment about *what* you think these things say about the person.
I actually don't know this. My guess is no. | Were you breast fed as a child?
I play bass and rhythm guitar, so I'd want to check both. | If you were in a rock band, which of the following roles would you fill, assuming you were equally talented at all of them?
I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I enjoy a variety of different games on occasion. I tend to have a lot more fun with multi-human-player games (doom, quake, quake2, unreal), just because it's vaguely social. (sick and twisted, but social).. My original addiction to multiplayer games came from an old text-graphics game called "Flash Attack," which was run through the teleconference section of MajorBBS... This was probably back in 1990ish. Following in 94/95 was Xpilot (vaguely like Netrek).. I became incredibly good at Flash Attack (almost unbeatable.. then again, I played about 10hrs a day for two whole summers, plus a lot during the school year).. Unfortunately, I'm not so great at Quake type games, but I'm getting better.... The latest in the saga is Unreal -- it's incredible. Waiting for my 3D graphics card to come in.... -- oh yeah, how could I forget emulators.. Old arcade games are great fun, too. | Do you like your computer games (not stand-up arcade games)...
I think so.. | Have you ever had a friendship that began with an argument or a fight?
A little less than a handful. The next level out has an awful lot of people in it.. People I consider to be close, but not as close... | How many people would you count as your nearest and dearest, most precious, sacred, cherished friends?
Definitely above average musically, but not a virtuoso. Make up for lack of talent with creativity.. or at least that's how the theory goes.. I've been paid for performing (with the band I'm in, not solo).. I have given away about 10 copies of my solo CD to various friends, to generally good reviews. **mute: yes.. i fall mostly in to the electronic realm too.. lots of gear, f-huge mixing console, etc.. but i also spend a lot of time with my acoustic guitar. it's one of my forms of relaxation. | How musical are you?
I've always kind of had a mutated morality on the issue.. I feel that stealing from individuals is always wrong. Stealing from large corporations is wrong in general, except I feel that sometimes things can be "liberated" rather than stolen. It's hard to describe, but picture a megabucks company with a ton of equipment they ceased to consider useful, and it's just stuck in some closet somewhere, collecting dust. They have no intentions of using it, and the red tape involved with buying it is such that nobody will even consider it. I have a problem considering "liberating" this equipment a bad thing.. Also, I guess software piracy falls under stealing.. I have the whole "software should be free" feeling... And I also find it hard to pay for low-quality, high-price software... Further justification on the issue is, I probably would just do without it. However, I feel that pirating software and making a profit due to having that software is kind of a no-no.. In other words, for personal use, when you wouldn't buy it anyway and are just screwing around.. Why not? Anyway, this is more how I feel, not necessarily how I act.. But I'm pretty sure in a life-or-death situation, my instincts would be enough solace to my morals if it meant living rather than dying. | Do you think stealing is ok?
The closest I can come is not spelling my own name.. I remember clearly that I used to draw my S's like Z's .. I also remember trying to learn my multiplication tables, but that's not an option here... | Do you clearly recall a time in your childhood where you did not know:
"Turn signals." | what do you call those things that you turn on before making a turn?
