| 3 | I know that when I smoked I didn't really care. I was young and figured I could recover later in life. I have seen warnings on packs in countries outside the U.S. and they are much stronger, like "Smoking causes Death" and not just "Um, this may not be so good for you".... But then many more people smoke in some of those countries (England and France for example -- I just got back and was relieved to be able to eat in a non-smokey place) So I would have to conclude that it doesn't make a heck of a lot of difference. | In your opinion, how effective are the American Surgeon General's warnings on packs of cigarettes? |
