My state government is broke due to the financial crisis, and aren't building any more power plants despite 1000 people a day moving here. They use the climate change hoax to justify a new system where any property being rented or sold has to have a $1250 energy efficiency audit and then improvements made by the seller. This is so they can both raise revenue and put off building energy infrastructure. If they are going to do this, at least be honest and tell us they need us to cut back on energy use while demand increases and the Coffers are bare. | 8 | I'm OK with legitimate "green" initiatives. I think it would be great if people who believed CO2 was the cause of all the evil in the world would do something of benefit to people, like having governments install solar hot water systems on state housing. This would reduce energy expenses for the poor, stimulate the solar hot water industry, and provide jobs for installers.
