1I guess it depends on the precise definition of "irresponsible". I mostly feel he's done his part by honestly informing her about how he views the relationship. I suppose one could imagine that he's behaving irresponsibly by not preventing her from behaving in a way that's self-destructive, but then you get into all these issues of free will that I think are difficult to work with in real life. Bottom line for me: he's not forcing her to behave in a way that is pleasant and not highly detrimental - so I vote no.Is John behaving in a morally irresponsible way by continuing his relationship with Jessica?

9Although I don't typically use a lot of uncommon words (generally I regard those who attempt to confuse issues by exploiting their conversational sparring partners' vocabularic lapses rather boorish), I believe, and I feel that most people here who know me - that is, who have had a reasonable (though not necessarily tremendously extensive) experience exchanging words with me either in print or person - might be capable of recognizing my frequently deeply nested and otherwise byzantine sentence structure. What search terms would zero in on your SC comments?
10If pressed, I would probably say the Greco-Roman period, during which western civilization as we know it was invented, nurtured, forced upon tens of thousands of unwilling people * raspberry * and eventually, if perhaps only temporarily, misplaced.Which period in world history is the most enlightening to you?
