| 6 | I use my CC and I have used First Virtual ('cause that is all the merchant took). FV seemed to be a neat hack, they give you an id and then you can use that to buy stuff; however, before the purchase goes through their system emails a confirmation to you and you have to reply to authorize it then FV pays the merchant and only FV knows you CC info. I suppose that someone can get your id, buy something, sniff the email you get, forge a reply from you with the appropriate transaction number, but it seems a bit extreme. The biggest pain about it is that you have to call FV's 800 number to give the card info.
