| 7 | Absolutely. I had a miserable time in school because I was poor and my old hand me down clothes, cheap clothes from Kmart caused a lot of teasing. I had a difficult time concentrating partly because of this. Many teachers treated the poor kids differently than the kids that had nicer clothes. It kept me from socializing. I was ashamed and embarrassed. I believe if the school had had uniforms life would be easier.
Now, you are talking a simple dress code not uniforms, correct? Of course silly. Girls shouldn't be wearing short shorts with their ass hanging out, low rise jeans so I can see their pubic hair and thong straps. No mid drift shirts to see the belly ring or belly flab. Boys need to keep their pants pulled up because I don't want to see their ass crack and boxer shorts. As long as body parts aren't exposed or displayed in a provocative way I'm ok with it. I think in most schools not letting the kids dress with baggy stuff for fear of hiding weapons and drugs is silly and paranoid, that's MOST schools. | Do you think all schools should have a dress code? |

I almost walked out because it was SO real and disturbing but I stayed because it was important to see what battle was like in WWII, for real, not Hollywoodized.
