Whatever regrets I have will be with me through out my life and I must live with them, I do not think I could ever fix them, no matter how much time I had, and I do not think anything should hold me back from being prepared to die. | If you learned you would die in a few days, what things would you regret not having gotten to do most? (more follows below)
It depends, I would normally say who ever is more qualified. But I am really more subjective then that, I look at personality, the way they present themselves, their attitude, many things. One thing I don't care about is sex and race. If I thought the black lady was a better choice I would choose her, if I thought the white guy was better I would choose him. | You're a personnel manager, interviewing job applicants...
I listen to what they say and try to understand why they think that, then state my opinions and reasons, and if their argument really makes sense and I see the error of my ways I agree with them. other wise I express my opinion and my reasons and try to get them to see why our ideas are either incompatible or are of uncertain conclusion and get them to at least understand why I think what I do. If they think something really stupid and would get really offended if I told them the truth I would bite my lip and bear it but think much less of them for it. | When a friend or acquaintance conversing with me expresses an opinion I don't share, my initial response frequently is to...
I cry because it is OK to feel sad. I cry when it reflects something about me, or evokes a certain response. I think I am an intellectual crier, I cry because of a concept not emotions. I will cry at the idea of never having spoken to someone when I think it could have evolved into an experience or that I see in them a remarkable facit that will remain unexplored, but will not cry at the thought of a friends death. Strange I know but that it the way things work for me. To not experience is to not have ever been, to lose is to let go of what has already become and passed. | It's all right to cry ...
I am a citizen of nowhere, I feel loyal to no country, and I travel on a regular basis, I think America is stuck up and closed minded. (Though some are not and there are some nice people). | Are you proud to be a citizen of (your country goes here)?
Extreme sports are mid-life crisises that happen young. They are also the inevitable result of the desenseitising of society, you can't get it where you used to find it because it doesn't do it for you any more so you go to farther extremes and farther untill you have to leap out of a plane a thousand times to get the same thrill you used to get from jupming off a swing set. | Extreme Sports:
I don't really like X-files. I don't think it will be an amazing movie | Will you go see the new X-Files movie? (check all that are consistent and apply)
I think it will be destroyed by arrogance, and it will happen quickly. Love the quote. What is "our civilization"? You don't have to die to destroy a civilization, in my mind civilization as many knew it is already dead. But I think civilization as I think of it is falling apart, it is based on lies and arrogance. | This is the way the world ends, This is the way the world ends, This is the way the world ends
I think it is nice some of you would like to help others. If you got magic power or wish I think that would cover it if you were thinking of going that direction. Yes, I have read the monkey's paw, I know I know. I was just thinking for those poor kids and stuff who have their parents die suddenly and want to say goodbye, not for bad people or things like that. Yacht and car were just little things usually like on "The price is right" sort of stuff, I just figured they would see there were better things out there then big expensive things and think about interesting things that were more what they really wanted. I added the mystery box because some people would rather have the delight of the risk and curiosity of going for an unknown despite being offered such great things if they can go without knowing what is in it or having it. | Which door do you choose?
I just don't get parties thrown for me (Poor little me) even birthdays, they say that when their economic status improves I can get a birthday, until then I can't get older. The last birthday party I had (that wasn't funded by government grants) was 5 years ago. I don't even get gifts anymore. | SURPRISE!!
