I don't think Sarah Palin could win the debate even if Biden had a fatal stroke in the first 30 seconds of it.

I've been very happy with my iPods. I have a shuffle, which I use at the gym or when I don't care what I'm listening to. I have a several generation old iPod with Video which I don't really use any more but which has worked very well for me. And an iPhone - the iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone, camera and GPS. I think that in many years of iPod-buying, I've had problems with them twice, and Apple paid for shipping and repairs.
You definitely have to use iTunes to work with your iPod. While it's true that the Nano, Shuffle and Classic can be used as USB disk drives, the music is kept separate from the files. You can't drag and drop music onto the disk; it has to go through iTunes. They do this so that they can keep control of the music library and stop you from copying music back from the iPod to your computer, so that they don't get in (more) trouble with the music industry.
I don't really understand the bug some people have up their asses about iTunes.
Note that if you purchase music through iTunes, download it to your iPod and then sync your iPod with a different computer that's authorized to the same iTunes account, the music you bought can be synced to that compute from the iPod.
You don't have to buy music for the iPod from Apple. It should play any MP3. Most of the music on mine I've ripped from CDs using iTunes. A little I've bought from Apple and some I've bought from Amazon (Amazon has a large selection of music in MP3 format).
The iPod Touch is pretty cool, especially with all the 3rd party applications you can now run on it.
Apple just refreshed the whole iPod line (they do this every year before Christmas), so you can get some good deals on older models and especially on refurbished iPods (full guarantee, as if new) from their online store.

They don't really seem like "thinker" surveys to me... they mostly seem like contrived situations set up to put across a certain viewpoint. |
