I was booted off too, and saw everyone else get booted. Between SC and my own netfeed I figure it just goes with the territory and don't think it's odd when people stop responding in chat. |

hey, could chat do name completion, so I can whisper something to ASexyBabe without having to type out the whole name? Or better yet, could we have nicknames, so I could whisper to ASBT using a short name, even when ASB was in the room? |

any way to do this? maybe in the new code base...
seems like you'd still want to have the person listed in the "who is on" cell. |

does the w</-- -->ees translator apply to comments made before it was put in place? If it does, then I think that's a bad thing. It's one thing to ridicule people who have a chance to see it coming and avoid it. But people who used wees before did not expect to be ridiculed for it. |

It takes a while for me too. One thing that helps is to open forum messages in a new window (button 2 click, for some browsers) instead of in the main window. That way I don't have to wait all over again when going back to the forum message list to explore a new topic. |

Hey bill, would it be possible to filter Forum messages the way that survey responses are filtered? I can imagine several solutions to the effect on the graphical thread chart, the simplest being simply to delete the line off the chart after it's been generated, resulting in a double-indentation when something has been skipped. |

No one needs to take anyone's word for anything. But I for one am glad to have you back, and anyone who isn't can filter you. |

You know, I really do imagine poor confetti (or whatever her name is) as Angela Hayes (the character whose line that is in American Beauty). You know, the one who turns out to be a virgin just when we have accepted her identity as a slut. I wish we could all have the decency to react to this revelation gracefully and supportively, without hounding this poor girl -- and I think that's what she is -- off a site which it seems she has become quite attached to over the last several months. |
