Oh for Christ sakes. This sc has got about as much intention of killing himself as Osama Bin Ladin has of running for Mayor of Tel Aviv.
If he were actually thinking of killing himself, and decided to tap into the prodigous encouragement/support/advice network available here at SC -- he would NOT be interested in creating nonsensical options like, "Check this box if you think my survey's a joke" or "Honk if you think I'm a dipcrap" or whatever. I mean, what in the hell was THAT all about? Does this sound like somebody at the end of their rope to you?
Initially, I too got taken in by this survey, and, out of pure reflex, said something sympathatic like, "Jesus Christ, I hope you're only kiddiing." On later reflection, however, it became fairly obvious that he WAS only kidding.
And for what it's worth, I happen to share people's objections to this impish little prank, tho' not because it is so tasteless (tho' I suppose it is), but rather, because it is so utterly lacking in cleverness.
Believe me, sc, if you came up with a bold, clever and original way of mindfudging ALL of us here at Survey Central, I would kiss your ass in Macy's window.
In the middle of rush hour.
For just as long as I could hold my breath. |

No kidding? I knew an SC could comment on his own qual surveys, but didn't know he could vote on them also.

Bill, you're the greatest. Thank you. Never would've suspected Joe though. He pulled off a near-perfect crime because he voted on his own survey! (see my query on this thread)
How was that possible? | magazineboy

Could you please find out the author of this survey and post their name? -- http://surveycentral.org/survey/11453.html
I get enough crap already for the stuff I am doing without being "framed" by some wanker for something I didn't.
Besides, it doesn't even SOUND like me. Where's the idea behind it? Where's the flair? It's nothing. It's just easy and vulgar and lame.
In short, art fans, the piece is but a crude forgery, not a genuine "Magazineboy".
Rather like signing Vermeer's name at the bottom of a "Hagar" comic. |

Bill --
I had a fine, funny survey going (ask Kate or Jkiehart) -- http://surveycentral.org/survey/11350.html -- which was somewhat esoteric so it languished in qual for a while, then wound up getting ruined after someone here decided they could "fix it."
The little wanker kept my original question, but changed the options -- every last bleeding one of them! -- so the survey now bears no resemblance at all to the one I created.
Have I still got the option of deleting it? |

Fantastic people!
The qual's own Tampax is dripping lots of stinky, pulpy, juicy, blood-red surveys -- and they're all for you!
Check 'em out!! |
