Went to a local drive-in movie a few weeks ago --- first time in several years. Admission was $6.00 per person. Also saw "Transformers 2" that night. Sound provided by old-fashioned window-speakers, or you could tune to an fm frequency on the car radio (& risk running your battery down).
Second feature after the intermission was terrible... something about "Dance" in the title --- so bad we left within 10 minutes from the start. Avoided the money-trap consession stand, with those outdated intermission ads about "piping hot pizza, juicy hamburgers, buttery popcorn, and ice cold Coca-Cola". (More economical to bring your own snacks.) |
