Hip. One of the organizers local to MA should drop me some e-mail about getting together to take the photos:

Hey all--just wanted you to know that I survived basic training. Special thanks to dabprovin for the card From here on out I'm not going to be able to devote as much time to SC, but I'm going to try and stop in once a week or so.
For the record, I'm not going to Points Middle-East any time soon; I've still got at least a year of training before I earn my officer's commission.
Cheers,

Well, folks, the time has come. On Wednesday morning, at 4:30, my recruiter will be collecting me at home and taking me to Boston for dispatch to Fort Knox, Kentucky. My first several days there will be spent at the Reception Station, where I'll be issued a bunch of gear, get some shots, and snazzy new hairdo. After that, I'll be living, breathing, eating, and sleeping Basic Training for nine weeks.
My primarily link to the outside world is going to be postal mail. I'll be forwarding that address along once I know what it is. I can't guarantee that my replies will come in a timely fashion, but I'd love to hear from anyone who feels compelled to write.
Enjoy the Autumn; I'll be back for winter.

Aheh...If you want to add them to the gallery, you'd better make it quick. I'm leaving for boot camp very soon!

Right. Carry on, then.
And please send me vidcaps from your father's aforementioned collection.
Cheers,

...are not to be found in this post. Actually, I'm just doing a little experiment. My last few posts have been directed at BrianW and he hasn't responded to any of them (not that I am somehow deserving of his precious time). So, I'm just randomly posting the kind of subject line he'd be likely to investigate to see if he's just got me completely blocked in his user settings. |

You're losing it, here, BrianW. Try and get a hold of yourself.
Hit the web. Find some links to back up the global warming theories.
Having read over the evidence for myself, I find myself on kaleb's side of this debate, but I'd be willing to reconsider if you would kindly provide us with some actual data.

You of all people should know that even listening to someone you can't stand still makes you think. Challenging one's own beliefs helps one to evolve. |

Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr! |
